%20cr.jpg)
The museum volunteers have been working hard to develop Argyle's first public park!
This large property contains:
- a heritage village (with four buildings)
- roads & railway tracks
- winter tobogganing hill
- prairie observation hill
- commemorative royal trees
- natural sink hole
- 3.5 acres of native prairie grasses/flowers
- 6 acres of hay land
This park space is used for recreational, educational, agricultural, environmental and heritage activities throughout the year.

In 2026, the museum expanded our efforts and took possession of our full 12-acres of land. During this time, the Carol & John Morgan Prairie Preserve was expanded to 3.5 acres. Additionally, 6 acres of hay was planted, preparing our site for even further, future expansions.
